They use loudspeakers, beat improvised plastic drums, hold and wave signs that read "We Are The 99%" to voice their grievances at whomever will listen, but mostly toward those on Wall Street — or in this case, the financial institutions that line LaSalle St. — for it was "unethical practices" by Wall Street that caused America's economic downturn.

A number of Chicago churches and organizations came together today to "Occupy the Dream" in Chicago at LaSalle and Jackson. Carrying signs that spoke to student debt, foreclosures, taxes and bail outs, people of various cultural backgrounds and ages took a stand particularly against Bank of America due to its leading foreclosure rate.
