Visions Blu Launches "The Sun Shines in the Shadows" on Kickstarter

Visions Blu is turning to the Internet to raise funds for this project, "The Sun Shines in the Shadows", a documentary that will provide a glimpse into businesses, cultural institutions and neighborhoods that frequently go unnoticed by media. This film will also feature those -- adults, teens, and community leaders -- who contribute to what is productive, peaceful and beautiful about the Chicago's South Side. Funding is the first major obstacle to getting any project off the ground. Therefore, we have embraced the online crowd-funding site Kickstarter.com

In line with Kickstarter.com guidelines, we have a set limited number of days to raise all the funds. There is 30-day fundraising window from start to finish. If the allotted budget ($10,000 US) isn't raised before May 4th, all pledges will be cancelled and the project will not be funded.

Help us make a difference by supporting the "One Block, One Voice" project and our goal to raise $10,000 on kickstarter.com. The funds and support will help Visions Blu complete this inspiring documentary "The Sun Shines in the Shadows" via our "One Block, One Voice" project.
