Visions Blu Institute held our 2023 FUNdraiser with a private screening of our newest film “The Nell” along with a live comedy show Saturday, January 28th 4:30pm – 6:30pm at the Music Box Theater, located at 3733 N. Southport. Seats SOLD OUT!

“The Nell” is a light hearted coming of age story, about competitive high school aged athletes and the bonds they form on the block. It’s based in the early 80’s, before the influence of the internet. Plus, Chicago area comedians provided entertainment for the soul.

We had a fantastic time! Join us next year!

"Tell Someone"

A Short Film
Don’t let trauma silence you,
“Tell Someone”
A Visions Blu Institute Production 2020
Picture

Let’s “Talk Therapy” with “Tell Someone”.

“Tell Someone” is a short film that exposes how trauma can re-surface during adulthood. A woman’s trauma revisits her in memory flashes. As a result, she must make decisions to change the trajectory of her life. This film seeks to remove the stigma around talking about trauma with professional therapists.

“Tell Someone” was written, directed and produced by Visions Blu Institute’s Executive Director. Visions Blu Institute is a 501C3 media and arts organization. We would like the opportunity to share this film with women, men, girls and boys in order to spark what could be life changing conversations.
Contact us to schedule a virtual or in-person showings, along with a question and answer session. Contact us at khamlet@visionsblu.com or 312.880.9315
